Direct Floor Mat Wiring

Direct Control

This page will show you how to wire up a Powerswitch Tail to a Floor Mat Switch. This will allow you to control 120v AC devices (up to 15A) froma Floor Mat Switch.

This kit will allow direct control of an AC device. You will not be able to set delays, timings, or any other behavior - when the matt is pressed, the load will be activated. For examples of using the floor mat switch or powertail switch with a microcontroller, see out Halloween How-To guide.

Wiring Diagram

You will need to solder extensions onto yout pigtail lead, then solder 2 wires onto your Floor Mat Switch as shown below.
